We take Barkus and Addie for a little adventure to see the man with a big penis (becuase essential dorset tourist viewing right!) We have a walk around the village, treat ourselves to a drink at the local and find some swings to play on. At home we sink a few g&t’s and put the world’s to right.
Time to drop addie and barkus to station, sad seeing them leave. Learnt so so much and make promises to discuss hosting a future with them next year.
At gone our lovely E comes to visit. E is rather a special friend to us, she’s been with us through thick and thin. She runs with her partner the awesome bajki ben, the proud to be kinky podcast, we show her some of the awesome things we learnt and generally have a giggle. More rope get a dyed, This time voilet. Dying rope is a messy and faffy learning process, however as we have now been dying ropes pretty much every day for the last 3 weeks we have nailed the process and it’s no l9nger a chore- we are actually enjoying it
We practise the ties we’ve learnt, luckily we took a lot of notes from the workshop as we soon discover we’ve forgotten stuff. This is one of the awesome tk’s, Osada has revised his TK and no longer teaches the old one, we are delighted with the new TK. Sterdy functional but still quick to tie.
Time to play with jewellery, i loved making this. “Proud to be poly”, using a triad of colours. It’s my favoraite so far. Sir and I have lots of happy times playing with new ties 😉
Sir and I head out, it’s “bring a towel day” (science fiction book lovers will understand this!) It’s mostly a chore day, but we manage to get some time at the park and get plenty of rope in buckets of dye.
It‘s a glorious sunny day, we decide to go out and grab a sky and Ben and picnic onroute. We head to our favoraite spot, an old walkers route that’s been overshaddowed by other “new” walks and is now rarely visited by anyone. I’m lucky my ex was an avid countryside explorer, and with many years ahead of me he showed me some of the most beautiful places in the south of England. I will revisit some this summer for sure. The day is filed with ropey goodness, lots of flying, and lots of wonderful sunshine.
Saturday‘s for me are work days, but evenings are always for play. Sir and I get home early evening and both being exhausted we agree on a movie, chocolate, gin..and an early night. As dawn is breaking at 4am, I am awake and notice smoke outside. The recycling is on fire, I call 999 and await the fire brigade. They arrive super promptly, however unfortunately in that time of me waiting in the main road to direct them.. a “helpful” neighbour spotting the fire decides to try and tackle it! He opens the lid of the bin where the fire has been brewing to be meet with a huge rising of flames which now have all the oxygen they need to burn down the bushes. The firevrew arrive shortly after this idiots attempt and promptly put the fire out. Funny enough sleeping after took a while!!
Back at my “day job” which is actually now only weekend’s, it’s munch day for everyone else. I suppose in the old days I would have been sulking, but now in my new position I’m so much happier I’m actually bouncing around and don’t mind missing seeing my kinky friends. Sir attends with all the colours we’ve been working on.. looks pretty awesome eh!!
That’s it for this week folks!
